Warframe Abyss of Dagath is out now, and to craft the new spooky frame Dagath, you need a new resource called Vainthorn. To research every part of Dagaths' frame and her signature weapon, Dorrclave, you need 182 Vainthorn.

However, the game doesn't explicitly mention how to get this valuable resource. As such, in this guide, we explain how to farm Vainthorn in Warframe.

How To Get Vainthorn In Warframe

To get Vainthorn in Warframe, you have to farm the new Exterminate mission called Abyssal Zone on Ceres. The Abyssal Zone node won't appear on the map until you have the Abyssal Beacon in your inventory. You can get these for 5000 Standing from any of the Syndicates.

In the Abyssal Zone, you need to look for something called Defixio. These aren't marked on the map, but you can pinpoint their location by interacting with Syndicate Agents on the Galleon.

To get Vainthorn, you need to find and extract Defixio. If you're playing solo, you only need to extract one Defixio to get Vainthrone. However, in the squad, every player needs to find and extract one Defixio. Carrying a Defixio will also apply one of the following Debuffs to your character:

Extracting Defixio and completing the mission will get you Vainthorn. Completing Abyssal Zone at normal difficulty can get you 7-9 Vainthorn in a single run, whereas completing it on Steel Path mode can get you 8-12 Vainthorn. Since it's a completion reward, you can't use resource boosters to gain additional Vainthorn.

And that's pretty much it. That should give you an idea of how to get Vainthorn in Warframe.
