WASHINGTON (TND) — A former teacher in Missouri who was placed on leave for having an OnlyFans account reported she has made nearly $1 million after she resigned.
Brianna Coppage, 28, who used to teach English at St. Clair High School, told Fox News she was using OnlyFans to make extra money and pay off student loans.
"I started it, one, to just supplement my income and kind of see what happens and possibly make extra money," she said. "Like, I have student loans. I was working on my third degree. So, I also have a master's degree in education, and then I was working on my specialist degree."
Fox News reported her teaching salary was $42,000.
Now, Coppage said she is among the platform's top creators.
"I will also say that I have tens of thousands of fans now. And I have, you know, far exceeded my teacher salary for the year," she added.
In September, the district was made aware of her OnlyFans account and she met with two school administrators.
When questioned about other income streams outside of teaching she told them her work on OnlyFans was "completely separate" from her professional life.
Coppage told Fox News that if she had the chance to do it again, she would.
"I don't regret it. I still strongly feel that. People are allowed to have personal lives outside of their career," she said. "And I've seen a lot of comments like, 'Well, what if the students found it or it's online? People are going to see it,'" she said. "And I don't necessarily disagree with that. I know for a fact that, one, students are not the ones who found it. They're not the ones who reported it. And they didn't see it until adults posted my link in a community group."
A similar incident happened in September last year when former teacher Courtney Tillia changed her career and became a millionaire by using OnlyFans.
Tillia said, "Becoming an adult model gave my family a better life."
